Spellbinders | Merry Stitchmas

Hello there, today I have a card to share with you using the Spellbinders Sparkling Mandala Die from the Merry Stitchmas Collection, as well as the Christmas Traditions Paper Pad.

PLEASE NOTE: This post contains affiliate links. Please see below for my full disclosure.

I started off my card by die cutting the Spellbinders Sparkling Mandala Etched Dies from white cardstock. The die comes as two - one for the holes/stitching detail and one for the outline. You can use them together or separately. I used them together for the white layer and then cut a layer with the outline only from Spellbinders Onyx Cardstock

Using Altenew Metallic Thread, I stitched the mandala, securing the thread at the back. There are stitching lines on the die cut for you to follow but you can stitch it any which way you like! It was then adhered to the black piece with Bearly Art Glue. I took a panel of paper from the Spellbinders Christmas Traditions Paper Pad and adhered it to the front of an A2 card base with tape runner.

The mandala was adhered on top with thin foam tape. I took the sentiment from the Spellbinders Mini Christmas Sentiment Strips Glimmer Hot Foil Plate & Die Set and foiled it on to more black cardstock with Spellbinders Champagne Foil. It was cut out using the strip die in the set and then adhered to the card with more thin foam tape. To finish off, I added Spellbinders Gold Mix Color Essentials Gems around the edges of the mandala.

Although I have used this die as a snowflake, it is technically a mandala so could be used all year round. I think it looks so pretty as a snowflake though! Thank you so much for stopping by today, I really do appreciate it. I hope you have a wonderful day. Take care!
