Hero Arts | Vintage Toys

Hello there, I am over on the Hero Arts Blog today, sharing a card using the Hero Arts Vintage Toys Fancy Dies.

PLEASE NOTE: This post contains affiliate links. Please see below for my full disclosure.

These Vintage Toys Fancy Dies can be used in so many different ways - cut from coloured cardstock, ink blended, coloured with watercolours or markers - sky's the limit! For my card though, I kept it very simple and just did a little paper piecing with gold glitter paper.

The background was created by stamping Gear Clock Bold Prints on to Cranberry Cardstock with Red Royal Ink. The sentiment from the Hero Greetings Christmas Gift Shop stamp set was stamped and heat embossed in gold. I created a window panel using the Hexagon Infinity Dies and popped the toys on top with foam tape.

  1. I love the simplicity of the two toys, and the little pops of glitter - so sweet! And I love how you stamped the subtle gears background, clever use of the stamp and all framed perfectly within a hexagon. Great card, and so festive with the gold and red! xx
