The release this month is all about Victorian Christmas and my card today uses the main die from the kit, as well as the kit stamp set plus an add-on set. I started off by die cutting what could be a shop window or a house front from white cardstock. I think this is supposed to depict the outside looking in but I thought that I would create it as the inside looking out.
I stamped the sentiment on to the front panel and then once dry, added the tree to the background and stamped the star from the set in the sky with
Clear Embossing & Watermark Ink. I applied
White Detail Embossing Powder and heat set. I then added the front panel on top with foam tape before adhering to an A2 white card base. I took the rocking horse image from the kit stamp set and stamped it on to white cardstock with
Intens-ified Black Ink and coloured it with Copic Markers. I die cut it with the coordinating die and added it to the card with foam tape.

I love your card, so beautiful. I am in love with the window and rocking horse. great job.
ReplyDeleteThis is such an elegant victorian Christmas card that it inspires me more now that I started making my 10 per pk cards to send to those that have supported me through my health issues. In fact, my first 10 cards are with windows and acetate, some are shakers, but some are not. I hope that I could receive my kit soon enough so I can make at least 2 pk with this beautiful theme that Hero Arts came up with as always, gorgeous. Thank you for sharing.
