Altenew | Craft-A-Flower Primrose Blossom Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello there, today see's the release of the new Altenew Craft-A-Flower Primrose Blossom Layering Die Set. This is such a pretty set and although there are quite a lot of layers to these flowers, I found it very therapeutic sitting and assembling them. We are celebrating the release with a fun, inspiration filled blog hop (with prizes!). More information on that below.

PLEASE NOTE: This post contains affiliate links. Please see below for my full disclosure.

I started off my card by die cutting the Altenew Craft-A-Flower Primrose Blossom Layering Die Set from Altenew New Purple Gradient Cardstock for the petals, Altenew Summer Afternoon Gradient Cardstock for the centres and Altenew Green Meadows Gradient Cardstock for the leaves. They were adhered together with Altenew 2 in 1 Precision Glue Pen and then set aside while I worked on my card base.

I took the Altenew Bubble Wrap Stencil and embossed it on to a panel of black cardstock. This was adhered to the front of an A2 white card base with tape runner. I then die cut a circle using the Altenew Half Tone Circles Nesting Die Set from vellum. I adhered the flowers and leaves on top with more tape runner.

I took the sentiment from the Altenew Sentiment Strips 2 Stamp Set and stamped it on to white cardstock with Altenew Obsidian Pigment Ink. It was cut out and added to the circle piece with Altenew Instant Dimension Foam Tape. Using small amounts of tape runner, I then added adhesive to the back of the circle piece (hiding the adhesive behind the flowers and sentiment strip) and adhered it to the card. To finish off, I added a few Lucy's Bubbles.

  13. So pretty Michelle, it's nice to see a black background too and I think it really makes the flowers pop plus it does give that added interest too. Especially without detracting from the flowers. Stunning as always! xx
