Spellbinders | September 2021 Clubs Inspiration

Hello there, today I am sharing two cards with you using two of the Spellbinders Clubs for September 2021. I am using the Clear Stamp of the Month Club, which is called 'A Little Birdie Told Me', along with the Tweet Friends Die Set and also the Small Die of the Month Club, which is called 'Layered Mix & Match Sentiments'.

For both cards, I decided to create backgrounds with strips of Spellbinders Cardstock. I love their colours of cardstock and I thought these ones went well together. I used Glacier, Raindrop, Teal Topaz, Lagoon, Purple Mist and Lilac Blossom. They were simply cut in to strips and added to panels of white cardstock. The first card with no gaps between and the second with white gaps left for a different look.

For my first card, I started off by stamping the bird and banner from the Spellbinders September 2021 Clear Stamp of the Month Club Kit with black ink on to white cardstock. I then stamped the sentiment inside the banner flag and coloured them with Copic Markers. I die cut them out with the Spellbinders Tweet Friends Die Set, which is an add-on to the stamp set this month.

The cardstock strips background was added to an A2 white card base with thin foam tape and then the bird and banner added with another layer of foam tape. I took the flowers and leaves from the Spellbinders September 2021 Small Die of the Month Club Kit and die cut the flowers from Snowdrift Cardstock and leaves from Rainforest. They were added to the card with Bearly Art Glue and then to finish off, I added Spellbinders Silver Mix Color Essentials Gems

For my next card, I took the background cardstock strips panel and adhered it to a white A2 card base with thin foam tape. I then die cut the 'happy birthday to you' and the flowers from the Spellbinders September 2021 Small Die of the Month Club Kit from white cardstock. I cut the word shadow from vellum. The words were cut three times and adhered one on top of another and then on to the vellum shadow.

They were adhered to the card with small dabs of Bearly Art Glue but before pressing down, I popped some of the flowers underneath. The leaves were cut from Rainforest cardstock again. To finish off, I added Spellbinders Silver Mix Color Essential Gems to the centres of the flowers, as well as a few scattered around the card.
