Hello there and welcome to day one of the Clearly Besotted Teasers for the October 2021 release. Release day is Friday, 1st October and from now until then, we will be sharing teasers with you using the new sets. Today I am using the super cute Merry Meerkat set. I love these meerkats and paired it with last month's Meerkat Mischief set.

The masks were all removed and the images coloured with Copic Markers (the colours that I used are listed below the supplies area). I added some dot detail for the ground/sand and then simply adhered the panel to an A2 white card base with tape runner. It is rare that I make a completely one layer card these days but they are perfect for mailing/posting!

It was nice to do something else for Christmas rather than my usual blues or even red. I tried to make it look a bit like a sunset/sunrise but in reverse. I am not sure it worked but I do like the end result anyway! For more inspiration using the new sets, please head over to the

What could be more perfect than a sunset scene with two Christmassy meerkats. Love the blended background and fab colouring! x
ReplyDeleteIt's lovely Michelle and even though it's not traditional Christmas colours it totally works! The colours are warm and cosy and your colouring and ink blending are amazing. The masking though, to get the meerkats stamped so perfectly that the background image lined up. You are a master at masking! xx
