Clearly Besotted Teasers | You're Tweet

Hello there and welcome to day two of the Clearly Besotted May 2021 Teasers. Today I am using the new Book Smart set. This set is so sweet! It contains lots of foxes reading books, as well as chicks and images to create a scene. Perfect for lots of different occasions. 

I started of my card by stamping one of the foxes from the Clearly Besotted Book Smart Stamp Set on to a panel of white cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I then stamped the chick/duck/bird followed by the sentiment. The fox and chick were then masked off (using masking paper) and the log image stamped so that the chick was standing on it. I made a mask for the log image too.

Using blending brushes, I blended on Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Mermaid Lagoon for the sky and Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn for the grass. I then placed the Clearly Besotted Freshly Cut Stencil on top and blended Mowed Lawn Ink through the grass blades. 

The masks were all removed and the images coloured with Copic Markers (the colours that I used are listed below the supplies area). I also added dot detail to the grass for some added texture. The panel was then simply adhered flat to an A2 white card base with tape runner.
