Hero Arts March 2021 My Monthly Hero Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello there and welcome as we celebrate the release of the Hero Arts March 2021 My Monthly Hero Kit and add-ons. The kit this month is all about reading and books, which I know a lot of people will love! We are celebrating the release with a fun blog hop. For the hop you should have arrived here from Maria but if you get lost along the way, I have the full list of participants below.

The main kit stamp set this month features a lot of wonderful images to create scenes with. There is also a stunning tree, which I am sure you have seen on your travels through the blog hop so far. For my card, I wanted to keep it very CAS and create a little serene scene. I started off by stamping the girl with her book on the armchair image, plus the table with coffee cup on to white cardstock with Hero Arts Intensified Black Ink. I coloured them with Copic Markers and then die cut them out using the coordinating dies in the kit

I took a panel of white cardstock and masked off the sides of the panel with Post-It Tape. I then took Hero Arts Thistle Reactive Ink and using a blending brush, lightly blended the ink inside where I had masked off. I also added a little Hero Arts Purple Galaxy Reactive Ink for some added depth. I stamped the sentiment from the set on to the panel with more Intens-ified Black Ink and then adhered it on to an A2 white card base with tape runner. The images were added on top with foam tape.

  19. Hi, Michelle - I love the colors you chose -- I'm more of a cool-color person myself. You did a great job of using the Thistle ink on the background, too - very subtle and very elegant in its subtlety. LOVE your card. TFS your high level of talent. We're the lucky ones for getting to see your results.
