STAMPtember 2020 | Party Time!

Hello there, I am sure you saw yesterday that STAMPtember is upon us! This is a month long celebration over at Simon Says Stamp, filled with lots of fun new sets, collaborations, inspiration and prizes. Today we are celebrating the launch of the new Simon release with a fun party! Each person at the party has a prize for you (mine is below!) so do be sure to visit each blog to see which one you want!

For my card today, I am using the wonderful new Tiny Words Support Stamp Set. Like the other Tiny Words sets in the collection, the set features a plethora of sentiments in a support theme in Simon's signature tiny font. They work perfectly for so many designs.

I started off my card by taking a panel of white cardstock and placing the Simon Says Stamp Leafy Frame Stencil on top (after spraying the back with Pixie Spray) I then blended on Tim Holtz Distress Inks using the Pink & Main Ergonomic Blending Brushes. These give such a beautiful soft blend! I first applied Peacock Feathers, leaving it lighter in the inside, followed by Pine Needles and then on the very outer edges, I used Chipped Sapphire.

I removed the stencil and then blended on a lighter layer of the same colours over the leaves, so that they wouldn't be stark white. I took the Simon Says Stamp Big Friend Dies and die cut the word three times from white cardstock, adding Stick It adhesive sheet on the back. They were layered up and added to the card.

I then took the sentiment from the Simon Says Stamp Tiny Words Support Stamp Set and stamped it on to black cardstock using Versamark Ink. I applied white embossing powder and heat set. It was then cut in to a strip using the Simon Says Stamp Sentiment Labels Dies and added to the card with tape runner. The panel was added to an A2 card base with tape runner and then I added Simon Says Stamp Moonshine Sequins to finish.
