Reverse Confetti | Love To Love You

Hello there, did you see back in August that Reverse Confetti released a special set called You Matter? This wonderful set works well to support causes close to people's hearts right now. Since I am so late in receiving it (since the postal system is rather blocked up at the moment) a lot of the designs that I may have used it for have already been done. I wanted to do something different, so I decided to use the set for a generic love card.

I started off by creating my background. I took a panel of white cardstock and blended Tim Holtz Distress Inks on to the top part of it. I used Picked Raspberry, Dried Marigold, Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted Citron, Mermaid Lagoon and Wilted Violet.

I then took the heart stamp from the Reverse Confetti You Matter Stamp Set and stamped it on to the panel using the same colours of Distress Ink. The panel was then added on to an A2 white card base with tape runner. I took the love die from the Reverse Confetti You Matter Confetti Cuts and die cut it three times from white cardstock. They were adhered one on top of another using liquid glue and adhered to the card.

I took the sentiment from the Reverse Confetti Word Up Stamp Set and stamped the accompanying sentiment on to black cardstock with Versamark Ink. I applied white embossing powder and heat set. It was cut in to a strip and added to the card using foam tape. To finish off, I added a few Lucy's Raindrops.

  1. So pretty and your ink blending is so smooth! I love the addition of the little tone on tone hearts. Such a beautiful card in those lovely rainbow colours with the pop of black! xx
