Home With A Heart

Hello there, today I have a new home card to share that I made for a very good friend of mine. I have made new home cards in this kind of style before and I have always loved the simplicity of them, so I wanted to make another.

I started off by taking the second smallest house from the Hero Arts Nesting House Infinity Dies (sadly now discontinued but still in stock at some retailers) and cut it from Hero Hues Sand Cardstock. I then took the smallest of the hearts in the Hero Arts Nesting Hearts Infinity Dies and cut this in the top of the house. I then placed Hero Hues Cherry Cardstock behind (with the house popped up on foam tape).

I took the smallest of the Hero Arts Nesting Cloudy Infinity Dies and die cut them from white cardstock. These were added to an A2 white card base with tape runner. The house was then added in the middle. I took the sentiment from the Hero Arts Congrats Happy Stamp & Cut and stamped it on to more white cardstock with Hero Arts Inten-sified Black Ink. It was cut in to a strip and added to the house. To finish off, I added a red jewel in the centre of the heart.

I apologise for my recent impromptu week break. I have been creating, just nothing I can show just yet! Anyway, I hope you are all well and staying safe with all this horrible weather we have been having (especially here in the UK). I hope you have a wonderful week!

  2. It's absolutely gorgeous Michelle and has pride of place on my window sill. The tiny little jewel in the middle of the heart - I'd never have though to add that in! And I originally thought the house was a chipboard - great quality cardstock. Thank you so much for the lovely card, the beautiful flowers and most of all your friendship xx
