VIDEO | Spellbinders + FSJ Kindness Matters Kit

Hello there, I am delighted to be over on the Fun Stampers Journey YouTube Channel today to take part in the Kindness Matters release launch. For today's projects, I am using the FSJ Kindness Matters Project Kit. This is a wonderful kit, perfect for lots of different occasions and has a lovely happy and fun feel to it. It includes three stamps sets, plus a stencil and lots of supplies to get you started. You can now also buy the stamp sets and stencil individually too.

For the launch, I made three clean and simple cards using the three stamps sets in the kit, as well as the stencil. Here is the video showing how I made the cards:

KINDNESS IS COOL

For this card, I used the Folk Blossom Stamp. I stamped it on to watercolour paper using Clear Pigment Ink and applied White Embossing Powder. It was heat set and then I applied Mermaid Markers in Byron Bay, Bluebottle and Jellyfish. It was cut down into a panel and added to an A2 white card base with foam tape. The sentiment is from the Kindness Is Cool Stamp Set, stamped on to Black Licorice Cardstock and white heat embossed also. To finish off, I added Splash Zone Sequins.

LET’S CELEBRATE

For this card, I first stamped the cake from the Sweet Birthday Wishes Stamp Set on to vellum using Clear Pigment Ink. I applied Rose Gold Embossing Powder, heat set and then fussy cut it out with scissors. I took the sentiment from the same set and heat embossed with Rose Gold on to Black Licorice Cardstock and cut down in to a strip. I took the Cane Weave Stencil and embossed this on to white cardstock using the Platinum 6. The piece was added to a card base and then the cake added on top, along with the sentiment.

SMILE

I took a piece of paper from the Journey Basics Brights Paper Pack and added this to an A2 white card base. A white tag was added on top with twine through the top. The sentiment from the Kindness Is Cool Stamp Set was white heat embossed on to black cardstock, cut in to a strip and added to the card. The sunflower image from the set was stamped on to white cardstock with Cave Black Squid Ink and coloured using Journey Color Burst Pencils. It was added to the card with foam squares.
