Happy New Year

Hello there, today I have a card to share using the Clearly Besotted One More Sleep set. I made a tag using this set when it came out and I just love how the fireworks look on the ink blended background. I decided to create a similar tag (minus the dog but added in the building instead) and added it to a card.

I started off by die cutting one of the tags from the Clearly Besotted Tag Along Die Set. Using blending brushes, I blended on Distress Inks in Blueprint Sketch, Dusty Concord and Seedless Preserves. I then took the buildings and moon image from the Clearly Besotted One More Sleep Stamp Set, masked off the moon section and stamped it on the bottom of the tag using Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink.

I let the tag dry for a little while and then took the fireworks from the set and stamped these on the tag using Versamark Ink. I applied Tonic Nuvo Shimmering Pearl Glitter Embossing Powder and heat set. I then stamped the sentiment on to black cardstock using more Versamark ink, applied White Detail Embossing Powder and heat set. It was cut in to a strip and added to the tag with foam tape.

I added black twine through the top of the tag and tied in a bow. The tag was added to an A2 white card base with scored lines on, with tape runner. To finish off, I added a few Lucy's Iridescent Jewels.
