Ho Ho Ho!

Hello there, today I have a Christmas tag to share with you. This year I am going with a rose gold/or copper and black theme for my wrapping and I thought it would be nice to make a few tags to coordinate. Sadly, I won't have time to make them all but it is nice to do one or two!

I started off by die cutting the Hero Arts Tag Fancy Die from Hero Hues Pitch Black Cardstock. I partially cut the tag at the bottom so that I could extend the length of the tag to fit my tree on top. I then cut the Hero Arts Color Layering Nordic Tree Frame Cuts and the tag reinforcer from Simon Says Stamp Copper Glitter Cardstock. The tree and hole reinforcer were added to the tag with Precision Glue, I then die cut the snowflakes from the Hero Arts Layering Snow Globe Fancy Die set from Hero Hues Dove White Cardstock and added them with more liquid glue.

I took the sentiment from the Hero Arts Snarky Christmas Messages Stamp Set and stamped it on to more black cardstock using Hero Arts Clear Embossing & Watermark Ink. I applied Hero Arts White Embossing Powder and heat set. It was cut in to a strip and added to the tag with foam tape. I added twine through the top of the tag and then embellished with black enamel dots from the Hero Hues Neutrals Enamel Dots selection.

Do you make your own tags for presents? I love making tags but sadly never manage to make them all for Christmas presents. This one is really pretty in real-life but sadly, wasn't that easy to photograph! Thanks so much for visiting me today, I hope you are well and have a fabulous day!

  1. It's a very classy colour combination and a gorgeous tag. I'm still using up wrapping paper from years ago and so I keep doing red/gold or blue/silver. I need to change it up a little! xx
