Hello there, today we are celebrating the release of the Hero Arts December 2019 My Monthly Hero Kit. The kit has a fantastic earth, nature and wonders of the world theme. For the hop, you should have arrived here from the amazing Lydia but if you get lost along the way, I have the full list of participants below.
For my hop card, I wanted to use the beautiful woman image in the main stamp set. I love that she represents the animals, flowers, water and sky of the earth. I stamped her on to white cardstock using Hero Arts Intens-ified Black Ink. She was then coloured using Copic Markers (the colours that I used are listed below the supplies section) and then cut out using the coordinating die that also comes in the kit. I also stamped, coloured and die cut the induvial butterfly.
I took a Dove White Top Folding Card and blended Hero Arts Grape Slush Reactive Ink towards the top, blending into white half way down the card base. The woman and butterfly were then added on top with foam tape.
I took the sentiment from the Hero Arts Nature's Beauty Stamp Set (which is an add-on product this month) and stamped this onto Hero Hues Pitch Black Cardstock with Clear Embossing & Watermark Ink. I applied Hero Arts White Detail Embossing Powder and heat set. This was cut into a strip and added to the card with a combination of foam tape and tape runner (where it overlaps the image).
My next card is the card that I shared for the countdown over on the Hero Arts Blog. I used the koi fish from the main stamp set and stamped these again on to white cardstock and coloured with Copic Markers. They were fussy cut out and added to a white card cut using the Hero Arts Tag Fancy Die. The sentiment is from the main kit but I masked the sentiment to fit on one line (it stamps stacked up). The tag was added to a Hero Hues Papaya Cardstock card base, that has been scored using a score board, with foam tape.
