STAMPtember | Hero Arts Thank You Flowers + Giveaway

Hello there today is the day Hero Arts have teamed up with Simon Says Stamp to bring you the STAMPtember Real Flowers Vintage set. The set is exclusive to Simon Says Stamp and is limited, so if you love it, you need to grab it quickly. The set consists of beautiful wild flowers, as well as some wonderful sentiments.

I started off my first card by stamping the flowers from the Real Flowers Vintage Stamp Set along the bottom of a piece of watercolour paper, using Hero Arts Intens-ified Black Ink. I then stamped the sentiment from the set above.

I then took Hero Arts Liquid Watercolors in rainbow shades and one at a time, added the watercolour on to a plastic sheet. I misted it with water and then picked up the plastic sheet and took it to the watercolour paper and smooshed it on. I really like the organic look and thought it went well with the wild flowers. I then took Hero Arts White Iridescent Shimmer Spay and splattered this on to the panel too, for some added interest and sparkle.

Once dry, the panel was simply adhered flat to an A2 card base with tape runner and then I added a strip of Hero Hues Pitch Black Cardstock across the bottom to help ground the flowers.

My next card uses the dandelion from the set. It is just so pretty that I couldn't resist using it on another card. I took a piece of masking paper and die cut a circle into the top middle using the Hero Arts Nesting Circle Infinity Dies. I added this to a panel of white cardstock and blended Hero Arts Reactive Inks inside. I used Grape Slush, Splash and Pool Party. I then took the dandelion image from the Real Flowers Vintage set and stamped it twice inside the circle using Hero Arts Intens-ified Black Ink.

I then splattered on some more Hero Arts White Iridescent Shimmer Spray and removed the mask. I took the sentiment from the Hero Arts Mix & Match Compliments Stamp Set and stamped it on to black cardstock with Hero Arts Clear Embossing & Watermark Ink. I applied Hero Arts White Detail Embossing Powder and heat set. This was cut in to a strip and added to the card with foam tape. To finish off, I added a few Lucy's Raindrops.
