Clearly Besotted Teasers | You Can Do It!

Hello there, I am back with my last teaser this morning for the Clearly Besotted May 2019 release. Today I have a little tag to share using two new sets - Being Schooled and Feeling Sentimental. Being Schooled is a fun set with four hippos and lots of smaller images to accompany for a school theme. I did, however, think these hippos could be used for new jobs, for people who like reading (there are ones holding books too) and so I thought I would make a generic good luck tag which could be used for a new job or for school/university exams.

 

I started my tag off by creating the actual tag itself. I took the tag die from the Tag Along set and placed the square aperture die inside. I ran this through my die cutting machine and then again just using the tag itself, from white cardstock. I placed a piece of patterned paper behind the window opening and then added the solid tag to the back to sandwich the paper in-between.

 

 

I took the sentiment from the new Feeling Sentimental set and stamped this with black ink towards the bottom of the tag. I took one of the hippos from the Being Schooled set and stamped it on to white cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. The hippo was coloured using Copic Markers and fussy cut out with scissors (but there are coordinating dies if you prefer). The hippo was added to the tag with foam tape and then I added black hemp twine through the top to finish.
