Reverse Confetti January 2019 Blog Hop

Hello there, today we are celebrating the January 2019 release from Reverse Confetti. What a wonderful release, it is perfect for Valentine's but also all year round cards too. Today I am using two new sets, as well as a new paper pad. If you are following along in the hop, you should have arrived here from the amazing Kathy, but if you get lost along the way, I have the full list of participants below.

My first card uses the new adorable Big Bear stamp set and coordinating dies. I started off by stamping the big bear and heart images from the set with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on to white cardstock. I coloured them with Copic Markers (the colours I used are listed below the supplies section) and then cut them out with the Big Bear Confetti Cuts. I love that the die cuts out the bear's hands so that you can have him holding different things. I added the heart.

I then took a panel of paper from the new Call Cupid Paper Pad and added this to the front of an A2 white card base. I took the sentiment from the set and stamped this on to a strip of black cardstock with Versamark Ink. I applied white embossing powder and heat set. This was added at the bottom of the paper piece with foam tape. I then added the bear on top. I added foam tape at the top and tape runner at the bottom. To finish, I added Aqua Shimmer to the heart and black glaze pen to the bear's eyes.

My second card uses the super cute Heart Pals stamp set and coordinating dies. I first took the dog image from the set and stamped this using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on to white cardstock. I coloured the image with Copic Markers (the colours I used are listed below the supplies section) and then die cut out with the Heart Pals Confetti Cuts.

I took an A2 white card base and embossed a circle die on to it. I then die cut two smaller circles, one from the Call Cupid Paper Pad and one from white cardstock. I cut the white piece down further so create a ground. They were adhered together and then on to the card with tape runner. I added the dog image on top with foam tape. To finish off, I added black glaze pen to his eyes and then Crystal Glaze to the hugs and kisses sign.

  1. They are both adorable Michelle. Lovely use of Patterned Paper too. I never use mine for a background and it makes a really nice alternative to ink blending. Your colouring is fabulous as always and I think these are great stamp sets! Oh dear... Lisa xx
