Hello there and welcome to day two of the March Clearly Besotted teasers. The new products will be in the shop on the 1st March. Today I am sharing a look at another one of the smaller sets. This one is Spring Daffodils and it is so pretty! Just looking at it puts me in the spring mood!
I started off by stamping the daffodils on to an A2 white card base with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I then coloured them, as well as the blue background, using Copic Markers. The colours I used are listed below the supplies section. To give the background some texture, I went in with a Colourless Blender and took some of the colour away. This gives a similar look to water splatter on Distress Inks, although difficult to see in the photos, sorry.
I cut two panels of white cardstock and ran these through my die cutting machine using one of the borders from the Mama Elephant Fine Trimmings Die Set (these just cut out the circles, not the actual border itself). These were added to the card base with foam tape. I took the 'happy birthday' sentiment from the Tiny Type set and stamped this on to black cardstock using Versamark Ink. I applied white embossing powder and heat set. This was cut in to a thin strip and added to the card with more foam tape. To finish off, I added a few Ice Cube Jewels around the sentiment.

COPIC MARKERS: Daffodils - Y38, Y35, Y17, Y15, Y13, Y11, Y00, Y000, Y0000. Stems - G46, G34, YG03. Background - B00, B000, B0000, 0.
Because I coloured directly on the card base, I will add another piece of white cardstock in to the front inside panel of the card base to cover the bleed through.
