Clearly Besotted Teasers | Ahoy There Matey

Hello there and welcome to day four of the March Clearly Besotted teasers. The new products release tomorrow at 8pm GMT and you do still have a few hours to enter my giveaway from day one, which you can find here. For my card today, I am using the new adorable Pirates At Play stamp set. This is one of the larger sets and it is so cute!

I started off by stamping one of the girl pirates on to a panel of cardstock that has been die cut with one of the Hero Arts Rounded Rectangle Infinity Dies. I then stamped the sentiment from the set below. The 'ahoy there' and 'matey' are two separate stamps but I stamped them together to create one sentiment.

The image was then simply coloured using Copic Markers. I coloured the background first, adding in dots for the sand, waves for the sea and then blended blues for the sky. The pirate girl and her flag were then coloured after. All of the colours I used are listed below the supplies section. The panel was then simply adhered to a white A2 card base with foam sheet and DST.
