Beautiful Birthday

Hello there, today I have a card to share using the beautiful Paper Layering Floral Heart with Frame die from Hero Arts. It was released as part of the January 2018 My Monthly Hero Kit. It is so pretty and I think it can be used for lots of different cards/occasions.

I started off by cutting the die from a panel of white cardstock. Using a pokey tool, I pushed the leaves, butterflies and flowers through from the back so that they are raised at the front. This panel was adhered flat to a Surf Blue A2 card base. It would look nice popped up but since some of the pieces are popped up on the die, I think it looks equally nice adhered flat.

I then took the 'have a beautiful birthday' sentiment from the Dress Up Stamp & Cut set and stamped this on to a piece of black cardstock using Versamark Ink. I applied white embossing powder and heat set. The piece was cut down and added to the card with foam tape. To finish off, I added Little Things from Lucy's Cards Jewels to the centres of the flowers and butterflies.
