Fa La La La Llama

Hello there, today I have a little card to share using the adorable new Little Llamas set from Clearly Besotted. These llamas are just adorable and I particularly like the one that I have used today with the Christmas/Santa hat on.

I started off by stamping the llama on to some white cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I then coloured the image using Copic Markers and fussy cut it out (there are coordinating dies available). I then took a piece of kraft cardstock and using the MFT Drifts & Hills stencil, blended over some Hero Arts Unicorn Pigment Ink. This created a little snowbank for the llama to stand on.
I took one of the sentiments from the set and stamped this on to the kraft piece with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. The piece was then adhered to a 3.75" x 3.75" white card base with tape runner. The llama was added on top with foam tape. To finish off, I added Star Dust Stickles to the white parts on the hat and three tiny Studio Katia snowflakes around the sentiment.

COPIC MARKERS: Llama face and feet - E44, E43, E42, R00 (cheeks). Llama body - E42, E41, E40. Hat and belt - R89, R37, R29, R27, R24, R14.
I think the llama goes nicely against the kraft cardstock and the white pigment ink worked perfectly for the snow. That MFT stencil is fantastic! Thanks so much for popping by to see me today, I really do appreciate it. I hope you are well and have a fabulous rest of the day!

  1. What an adorable card. I love the snow drift you've created and it works really well with the Kraft cardstock. Need to get my craft on with Christmas cards soon! Xx

  2. This is sooo cute Michelle, love the llama and the tiny snowflakes
    Hugs Kaz xx

  3. This is adorable! It almost looks like you used a soft yellow to give your little llama a golden tint? You always have such amazing coloring! Thanks for sharing.

  4. I just love this! The red white and kraft just looks lovely together (very Scandi), used it myself just last week I think the first time ever lol but will definitely use the combination again, the llama is perfect for the style! I really like that snowbank stencil too 😃. Such a sweet card! Xx
