VIDEO | Craft Favourites 2016 - Colouring

Hello there, in my Craft Favourites 2016 series today, I am talking about colouring. If you have followed me for a while now, you will know that I love colouring. It is one of my favourite things to do and I strive to get better at it.

I will always love my Copic Markers. They are a bit of an investment but so worth the money as far as I am concerned. I have a list of my most used colours here. This year I also started to use coloured pencils more. When I first started crafting, I always used coloured pencils or watercolour pencils to colour images but when I discovered Copics, I sort of fell out of love with them. Thankfully I rediscovered my love this year and hope to use them a lot more in 2017 too. I also loved water colouring this year as well. Here is a look at some of my favourite colouring mediums:

What is your favourite colouring medium? I would love to hear. Thanks so much for visiting me today. I will be back tomorrow with my final instalment of the series. I hope you have a great day!

  1. I am not sure I can pick a favourite medium! I love watercolour and am really enjoying copics more now. My zigs I use a lot! But now I am enjoying pencils since I bought the 60 set tin. It's hard to choose. Peerless have been on my list for sometime now and may be my next investment in colouring.... loved your video and seeing all your beautiful cards! Xx

  2. Thank you very much for sharing this series. It's quite interesting to hear what products are favored and why. Your work is beautiful and I appreciate the time it takes to pull these videos together. I favor Prismacolor pencils, but am branching out to Distress ink, Peerless and now the Real Brush markers. Fun stuff! Thanks again. I look forward to seeing more of your lovely work in the new year. :)

  3. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on these Michelle. I've started my collection of Polychromos this year, it took me a LONG time to decide whether to start with them or Primsa's but i'm glad I did as I love using them. I have a few copics but that collection's taking longer to build :-( I love watercolouring and have been thinking of getting a box with pans so enjoyed seeing how you organise yours. I also like using Derwent Inktense pencils but really want to get into using inks this year. Happy new year! Lisa xx
