Hello there, I am back today to share another card made with Purple Onion Designs stamps. This is Jolly and isn't he cute? He is from an older release and currently on sale at 25% off during the holiday sale.
I started off by stamping Jolly on to white cardstock using black ink. He was then masked off while I coloured the background. I made a mask for Jolly, along with cutting a snow hill using the MFT Snow Drifts die. I then took Distress Inks in Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean, Faded Jeans and Seedless Preserves and blended these over the background, making it darker the further away from Jolly.
I took the masks off and then coloured Jolly with Copic Markers. The panel was adhered to a black A2 card base with ATG. I then added Red Spica pen to the dots on Jolly's scarf for a little shimmer. I took a white Gelly Roll pen and added snow over the panel. I took the Merry Christmas sentiment, stamped this on to black cardstock with Versamark and heat set with white embossing powder. It was then cut out using smallest of the MFT Fishtail Flags Layers Stax die. This was added to the card with foam tape.
