Hello there, today I have a card to share using the MFT Jungle Friends dies and stamp set. I ummed and ahhed over whether I truly needed these. I am really happy I got them though, they are so cute!
I started off by cutting the elephant body and ear from Bristol Smooth cardstock. I blended over Hickory Smoke Distress Ink and then added a little Black Soot to the edges. These were put aside to dry. I then took a piece of white cardstock and cut this with the rectangle ME Femme Frames die. I took the sentiment from the Jungle Friends stamp set and stamped this on to the panel with black ink.
I took a piece of paper from the MFT Calm & Cosy Chevron Paper Pad and adhered this to the front of a white A2 card base. The panel was then adhered on top with foam sheet. The elephant body was added on with liquid glue and then I popped up the ear at the bottom with a foam pad. To finish off I added a googly eye.

I have seen lots of other card makers add the googly eyes to these characters and I think it finishes them off perfectly. So cute! Thanks you so much for visiting me today. I hope you have a lovely weekend!
Michelle, I think the googlie eye is perfect, too. Totally adorable!
ReplyDeleteThis is adorable! You do such a great job blending the distress inks on die cuts. I have yet to master that skill :0)
