CB Teasers | Easter Chicks

Hello there and welcome to more Clearly Besotted Teasers. Today I am sharing a card and a little gift using two new sets. They both contain super cute chick images. The first, Chirpy Chicks is an outline set and the second, Cool Chick is a smaller solid image set. First up is the card I made using the Chirpy Chicks set.

I started off by stamping the chicks on to some white cardstock and then coloured them in using Copic Markers. They were then cut out using the matching die collection. I then applied Glossy Accents to the egg shells and left aside to dry.

I took a panel of white cardstock (cut using the SSS Stitched Rectangle dies) and blended over some Tumbled Glass Distress Ink. I then took another of the panels, cut this a second time using the ME Grassy Trio die and added Distress Ink on to this also. For the grass I used Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn inks. These were layered up on to a white A2 card base, along with the chicks, to make a little scene. The sentiment is from the Cool Chick set.

COPIC MARKERS: Y17, Y15, Y13, Y11. E51, E50.

Next up, I wanted to create a little gift bag type thing to accompany the card. I first took a sheet of Doodlebug paper and cut this on my Cricut Explore using the Popcorn Box cut file. This was assembled and mini ester eggs added inside. I then wrapped this with a cellophane bag.

I cut a WPlus9 Timeless Tag from white cardstock and added some Tumbled Glass Distress Ink to it for the sky. I then cut a little grass strip from MFT paper and added this to the bottom. The sentiment, from the Cool Chick set was stamped at the bottom.

I then took the Cool Chick set and stamped one of the little chicks on to it using yellow inks. I then stamped the eyes and beak using black ink. The chick was cut out using the matching die from the die collection. He was then added to the tag with foam tape. To finish off, I wrapped the bag up using ribbon and then added the tag with some twine.
