Hello there, happy new year! Welcome to the Clearly Besotted January teasers. From now until the release on the 5th January, the Design Team will be sharing teasers with you using the new products. I am kicking off my teasers by using the new Miniature Floral Collection II stamp set.
I started off by die cutting a SSS Stitched Rectangle using Ranger Watercolour Cardstock. I then took the Cherry Blossom image from the set and stamped this using Versamark ink. I applied a coating of WOW! Bright White Embossing Powder and then heat set. The image was water coloured using Peerless watercolours (my one and only Black Friday purchase!).

The 'thank you' sentiment, from the Flower Blocks set, was stamped on more cardstock with black ink and then cut in to a strip. This was added to the panel with foam tape. The panel was adhered to a 3.75"x5" card base. I then added a few Icicle sequins to finish.

Stunning watercolouring, Michelle. Did you use the Tim Holtz card for the base as well? Just wondering as the whites look so perfectly matched.

ReplyDeleteMichelle,
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year! I love this card. Would you consider doing a tutorial using your Peerless? I have them, but I don't get the lovely shading you do, and I know it's because you are so much better at this than me, but I think if I could see you do it, it might make more sense to me.
Thanks,
Maureen
Thanks so much, Maureen. I will definitely do a tutorial using them soon. This was the first time that I had used them, as soon as I have had a little more practice, I will get a video made. Thank you for asking :)
