VIDEO | Hello Chevron

Hello there, today I have a card to share with you using the new Floating Chevrons stamp from Create A Smile. I love the look of a whole background on a card but I wanted to use it to make a focal point piece, along with a sentiment for this card.

I started off by stamping the Floating Chevrons stamp using Versamark ink, on to a piece of Marshmallow Bazzill Cardshoppe Cardstock. I then applied WOW! Clear Matte Dull embossing powder over the top and heat set. I took some TH Peacock Feather Distress Ink and applied this over the top with water and a brush to get a watercolour look. This piece was then cut out using a SSS Stitched Circle die.

For the sentiment, I took the Hero Arts Hello die from the Stamp & Cut set and cut this three times from black cardstock (I applied Stick It to the back for the adhesive). These were layered up and adhered to the circle water coloured piece. The watercolour piece was added to a 4-bar notecard (made from the same Marshmallow cardstock) using Tombow Extreme adhesive.

I added a few Enamel Stickers to the card (these are new, soon to be released stickers from Create A Smile), and then applied Pico Shimmer Embellisher to the hello die.
