Happy Mother's Day

Hello there, in the UK today, it's Mother's day. So I thought I would share with you the card I made for my mum. She loves gardening and one of her favourite flowers is the sunflower. I thought I would combine all the elements using the Lawn Fawn Gleeful Gardens set. I thought the two snails looked like a mummy and a baby!

I stamped all the elements using black ink and then coloured with Copic Markers, adding clear Wink of Stella and Glossy Accents to the snails. I cut these out with the matching dies and then set about making my scene. I first took a panel of white cardstock and cut a rectangle using the SSS Stitched Rectangle dies, to make an aperture or window. I then took a piece of LF Let's Polka paper and cut it using the ME Landscape Border dies to make some hills.

I took a piece of blue paper from the AE Sorbet Collection and stamped the sentiment from the Clearly Besotted All Occasion Sentiments set (how gorgeous is that font?) on top. These were added to a white A2 card base with my ATG. I then popped the window panel on top with foam tape. The elements were added with either foam tape or ATG and popped behind the hills and window piece.

SUPPLIES:
Here are the links to what I have used on the card. Please click the picture to be taken to where I purchased it.

COPIC MARKERS: Mushrooms - E35, E33, E31, R89, R59, R37, R29, R27. Sunflowers - YG67, YG63, YR23, YR21, YR20, E59, E57, E55. Snails - E29, E27, E25, E37, E35, E33, E31. Hummingbird - Y08, Y06, BG34.

The card is a little busier than I usually make them but I think the scene is very cute and I hope my mum will like it!
