Hello there, today starts the new Clearly Besotted Teasers for the February release. You will have seen Stephanie's initial peek yesterday and now the DT and GDT will be sharing samples for the next few days. The new products will be released on the 5th February 2015 at 10pm GMT. You are going to love the sets this month (as always!).
My card today uses the new Friends Forever stamp set. It is a beautiful set that features two flower images, as well as some beautiful sentiments. I took the image of the Tulips, stamped it on a panel of TH Watercolor Cardstock, which has been cut using the ME Femme Frames die, with Versmagic ink and then heat embossed in white.
I coloured the image using TH Distress Markers with water and a paint brush. The 'you' portion of the sentiment has been stamped on to the panel using TH Mustard Seed Distress Ink and then watercoloured slightly. The 'thanks' portion has been stamped on a separate piece of cardstock using Memento Gray Flannel ink, cut out and added to the panel with foam tape. The whole panel has then been adhered to a PTI Harvest Gold card base using fun foam. I have simply then embellished with a few sequins and rhinestones.
SUPPLIES:
Here are the supplies that I used on the card. Please click the images to be taken to where I purchased it.
DISTRESS MARKERS: Mowed Lawn, Squeezed Lemonade, Mustard Seed, Dried Marigold, Tumbled Glass.
I would like to welcome Lucy Abrams, Jo Nevill and Jen Nelson as our Guest Designers this month. I hope you will visit Stephanie's blog where she will have links to the other DT and GDT sharing today. Thanks so much for visiting me today, see you tomorrow :D
