Winter Owl

Hello there, I am popping in today to share a card I have made for a very good friend of mine. I have started off by taking a panel of white cardstock and cutting a circle from it using the SSS Stitched Circle die collection. I then stamped the sentiment below it using the new Clearly Besotted Sentimental Type set. I set this aside and took an A2 card base, masked off the edges and then blended TH Distress Inks over the top for a winter sky. I took the SSS Falling Snow stencil and pounced some white HA ink on to it for a subtle snow effect.

I then left this to dry while I made the owl. I stamped the Lawn Fawn Winter Owl using Memento ink and coloured it using Copic Markers, adding clear WOS to his scarf and Glossy Accents to his beak. I then made a little snow bank for him to sit on using the ME Landscape Border die from more white cardstock. I popped this on the card base and then added the circle aperture piece on top with foam tape. I then added the owl in the centre.

SUPPLIES:

COPIC MARKERS: W0, W1, W2, W3, W4, W5, Y26, B000 (a little shadow on the eyes), B04, B01, B00.

I really like how this card turned out so I decided to make a very similar one for my Mum, which I will share with you tomorrow. Thank you so much for visiting me today.
