VIDEO | Crafty Favourites 2014 Part 1

Hello there, I hope you all had a lovely Christmas (if you celebrate it, if not I hope you had a lovely few days). I am back today to share my craft favourites with you from 2014. This year I have had to split the video into two as I have so many to share! This is part one.
Today I am talking about stamps, ink pads, dies, cardstock and paper and colouring mediums.

STAMPS
Some of my favourite stamps this year have come from Mama Elephant (I love their cute designs especially), Simon Says Stamp and Clearly Besotted Stamps. It was difficult for me to choose specific sets as I really love many of them but narrowed it down to a few for the video.

INK PADS
As well as my basic inks (Memento Tuxedo Black, Versafine Onyx Black, Versamark and Hero Arts Black Dye), I got back into chalk inks again this year. I love the soft, chalky finish they give. They are great for both solid and outline images too. I have also been loving the ink pads from Simon Says Stamp - I love the colours and the formula and also TH Distress Inks. One ink that I seem to have a bit of a love/hate relationship with, is the MFT Hybrid Inks. For me, they do not give enough coverage for solid images but I do like them for outline images and I LOVE that they can be used with Copic Markers and they won't smear.

DIES
My most used dies of this year have been stitched shapes - mainly rectangles. I LOVE them! My favourites have been the Femme Frames from Mama Elephant but I recently got hold of the stitched circles and squares from Simon Says Stamp and these are amazing. I am sure I will buy the rectangles in 2015! I have also loved word dies again this year and have built up quite a collection of them.

CARDSTOCK & PAPER
My favourite cardstocks have to be heavy weight ones - I love Papertrey Ink, Simon Says Stamp and Bazzill Cardshoppe. For paper, I am still in love with Doodlebug (of course!) but love Lawn Fawn and Avery Elle too.

COLOURING MEDIUMS
This year I have been using my Copic Markers to colour most of my images but I have also been loving the watercolour look. For this, I mainly went with Distress Markers but loved using my Watercolour paints too (although I forgot to mention them in the video!). Next year I hope to get back into using pencils more.
