Christmas Treat Bags

Hello there, every year I make some sort of decoration/treat receptacle for the table. I had planned on personalising them this year and add everyone's name but time kind of got away from me. Although they are not personalised, I still like how they came out.

I kept them simple (of course!) by first taking the glassine bags and stamping snowflakes on them, using the snowflake images from the Clearly Besotted Ornamental Style stamp set, with Stazon white ink (a bit difficult to see in the pictures as everything is white). While these were drying, I started on the tags for them. I have used the Clearly Besotted Rounded Tag die and cut it from Bazzill Marshmallow cardstock eight times. I then did the same with the larger snowflake from the Clearly Besotted Snowflake Trio dies using Stampin' Up Glimmer Paper.

I first stuck the snowflake to the tag (with Tombow Mono Multi Glue) and then added Doodlebug Doodle-Pops sticker to the centres (with some extra Multi Medium Matte). I went with penguins for the females and polar bears for the males! :D I then threaded some silver and white twine through the holes and added them to the bags with mini clothespins.

SUPPLIES:

The bags are filled with Cadbury's Snow Bites (chocolate balls covered with icing sugar) - I thought they seemed appropriate! :) Thanks so much for visiting me today. I really do appreciate it. I hope you are doing well with your Christmas prep. I am off now to wrap some presents! Have a lovely day! I'll be back tomorrow evening to share an announcement with you :D
