Have a Blast On Your Birthday

Hello there, I am back with another card using the new release from Clearly Besotted Stamps. This is another card you would have already seen if you saw my release video :) It uses the new Blast Off II stamp set along with the Blast Off Die Collection, as well as the original Blast Off stamp set. 

 

I first took a panel of white cardstock and masked off so that I had a strip exposed. I then blended TH Distress Inks over to make a sky and added a few splatters of glimmer mist for some shine. I did stamp a few stars on it with some white ink but they got a bit covered up in the end. I then took the rocket from the set and stamped this on some white cardstock and heat embossed in black. This was then cut out with the co-ordinating die and added to the panel with foam tape.

 

 

I then took the sentiment from the Blast Off original stamp set and heat embossed in black on to some vellum. I cut this using the tag banner from the Tag Along Die Collection. This was added to the panel with teeny pieces of clear foam tape. To finished off the card I added a few Doodlebug Sprinkles.

 

 

For the inside I completed the sentiment by stamping the 'on your birthday' from the Blast Off set followed by a few stars from the Blast Off II set.
