VIDEO | Watercolour Butterfly

Hello there, I am back with my last card for the month as Guest Designer for Craft Mojo.  I wanted to have a play with the new WPlus9 Flora & Fauna 2 stamp set today. All of the images in the set are stunning but I adore butterflies so I went with the largest one for my card. I stamped it out using TH Antique Linen Distress Ink on to watercolour cardstock and then coloured it using watercolour paints.

 

After it had dried I made a mask and placed this over the top. I then added a few splatters using Heidi Swapp Color Shine in Blush (I struggled with not having control but I wanted to make the card quite delicate and pretty and wanted to go with it!). I then die cut the sentiment using the WPlus9 Hand Lettered Thanks die, I added a layer of Clear Wink of Stella and then popped it on the panel. The panel has then been added to a white card base using my ATG.

COFESSION TIME: The photos that you see here are not the same card that I made in the video. When I went to add the photos to my post I didn't like them but I had already posted the card to the recipient. I had to re make the card and the photos you see now is the new card!
