Journalling for Card Makers

Hello there and welcome back to another fun day of Clearly Besotted Teasers. All the products will be available to purchase in the shop and at Simon Says Stamp on the 5th July 2014 at 10pm :) Today I have a card that uses two new sets. One of them is Journal It. It is a great set for journaling, project life and scrapbooking but I also think it is great for card making too.

I have first taken two of the frame images from the Journal it set and stamped one in SSS Mint ink and one in SSS Fog ink. These have been cut out, layered and then attached them with the TH Tiny Attacher. I have then cut one of the butterflies from the new Butterfly Duo Die Collection, applied WOS to it and then added it to the frames. These have been added to a panel of white CS with foam tape.

The sentiment, from the A Little Sentimental set, has been stamped with silver ink, cut out and added to the panel with foam tape as well. The panel has been added to a SSS Fog card base and then I have added a few silver Doodlebug Sprinkles to finish.

  5. Simply stunning!! The tags are the perfect 'landing spot' for the beautiful butterfly, and given that I'm butterfly obsessed, I'm in a swoon! Gorgeous showcase of the new sets, indeed!
