Hello there, last week was my Dad's Birthday but since my blog was packed full of CB teasers I didn't get a chance to share the card I made for him. I came across this gorgeous card on Pinterest by Lindsay Amrhein and thought the design would be great for his card. I first took a layer of white CS and embossed the Nestabilities Stars on to it. I then printed the sentiment from my PC (I used Amatic SC font) on to PTI Spring Rain CS and it out using the MFT Fishtail Flags Stax dies. This has been added to the panel with 3D foam and then I have embellished with a few Doodlebug Sprinkles. The panel has been added to a card base made from Peanut Cluster Bazzill Card Shoppe CS.

ReplyDeleteHi there,
ReplyDeleteI'm new to your blog but stumbled across it and very glad I did! This is a lovely simple stylish design.
Apologies if you have already spoken about this is another post but which machine do you use to emboss with the nestabilities? I have a cuttlebug but am not sure how to emboss with the dies!
Fabulous card for your dad! I love the embossed stars and enamel dots.
ReplyDeleteFantastic card sweetie!!

Hi Fran, I hope you see this as there is no other way of me contacting you. I use the Cuttlebug for all my die cutting/embossing. You need the sandwich - A plate, B plate, tan mat, cardstock, die facing down, b plate. This will emboss without cutting. I am going to try and do a video on it this week for you :)
