Clearly Besotted Challenge - In Flight

Hello there, we have a new challenge over at Clearly Besotted. This month's theme is 'In Flight'. Think butterflies, planes, hot air balloons etc. My card is pretty boring really but I wanted to use the Elegant Butterflies again. This time I used one of the dies alone. I have first smooched TH Distress Inks in Dusty Concord and Milled Lavender on a craft sheet and then liberally sprayed with water. I then dipped a sheet of watercolour card into it. I did this a few times and then dried with my heat gun. I then simply die cut this using the Elegant Butterfly die and popped it on a card base. The sentiment is from the A Little Sentimental set.

  2. Gorgeous Michelle.
I love using leftover ink & a bit of mica in this way to create backgrounds or over a stamped topper. I didn't think of die cutting it. Thanks x

  4. WOW! Definitely not boring Michelle. The colours on the butterfly look wonderful and a perfect CAS design to showcase it.
