Storage Sunday - Embellishments

Hello there, I am back with another Sunday Storage post, this week we are focussing on embellishments. Although I do not use a ton of embellishments on my cards I do have quite a few. I store them all in a Stackables unit (this is the small one), I like this unit as you can change the draws to whatever configuration you want. I have the larger 3" drawers at the bottom and then the 2" drawers above this and the 1" drawers at the top.

The three top drawers have inserts in them for me to organise my smaller embellishments like brads, my Doodlebug buttons (I don't have these in my button drawer as I like to keep them in colour order with my brads), clips, pearl beads, sequins, small wood veneers etc. I also have rub-ons and stickers in the other 1" drawers. In the 2" drawers I have twine, flowers, buttons, glitter and embossing powders. The two 3" drawers have bling - rhinestones, pearls and enamel dots and the other has my PTI ribbon, twine and felt.

Here is a video showing it all up close:

PRODUCTS MENTIONED:

I forgot to mention in the video how I store my chipboard. I have quite a few letters and numbers and a few shapes as well. I store them in a tin by Maya Road that I bought many years ago (I do not think they still sell them unfortunately). I store the tin in the drawer in my shelving unit.

I hope that you enjoyed looking at how I store and organise my embellishments and it may have given some of you ideas on how to store yours. I would also love to hear how you store yours. Thanks so much for visiting me today, I will be back tomorrow with another CBS teaser.

  1. Michelle, you are so organized! Love the drawer unit and insert and I love all the pretty colors that you have. I so wish I had the space to put one of these.

  2. Oh man, I'm drooling at your storage. I just use Ikea cardboard storage boxes for most embellishments, and some clear plastic shoe boxes with lids for my stamps, inks and pens.
