I have made this little card for the current challenge over at Less Is More which is 'Not Square - A Shaped Card'. I have gone for the easy option I guess and gone with a circle card. I have first made the base by cutting two of the Big Scallop Nestabilities dies from PTI Aqua Mist CS. I have adhered just the top part of the back panel to the front and scored a line for the card to easy open. I have then cut a white PTI SS CS panel using a Nestabilities Circle die. I have then used my new PTI Trendy Tree Tops stamp set. I have stmaped the tree top with PTI Aqua Mist ink and then the tree trunk with PTI Kraft ink - I have stamped it twice to intensfy the colour a bit. I have stamped the greeting (from the same set) with VersaFine Onyx Black ink to the side. I have finised off with a little butterfly cut from the MS 3 in 1 Butterfly Punch and added this to the tree and then tiny rhinestones to the branches. The circle has been added to the base with 3D adhesive squares.

The soft colours of this card are lovely and I love the little rhinestones accenting the tree. A smashing card.
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty card Michelle - love the colours.
ReplyDeleteThis looks fabulous Michelle and what a beautiful colour combination!
ReplyDeleteI think your method of adhering the front and back sections is the most aesthetically pleasing... no flat spot indicating where the fold is!
Great stuff.
Thanks so much
