Watercolour Flowers

Hello there, today I have a card to share that I made for my mum's birthday last week. My mum loves flowers so I went with some watercolour flowers for her card. I first took some TH Watercolor Cardstock and cut this using the ME rectangle Index Card die. I then took the ME Sweet Havana stamp set and stamped the individual stamps using TH Distress Markers. I just took the marker and went around the edge of the image and the stamped.

 

I then took an acrylic block, added some more colour to it with the markers and picked this up with a wet watercolour brush. I then painted in all the flowers as well as the pot, ground and shadow. For the flowers I added some clear Wink of Stella on top. I then stamped the sentiment from the CBS Nouveau Flowers set using TH Seedless Preserves ink. This panel has been added to a vellum piece cut using the larger scallop die form the ME Index Card set and then to a PTI Soft Stone card base.

DISTRESS MARKERS: Pumice Stone, Antique Linen, Frayed Burlap, Tumbled Glass, Bundled Sage, Crushed Olive, Peeled Paint, Mowed Lawn, Forest Moss, Milled Lavender, Dusty Concord, Seedless Preserves.

Clearly Besotted Challenge | Christmas

Hello there and welcome to this month's Clearly Besotted Challenge. The theme this month is Christmas. For my card, I have started off by die cutting two of the snowflakes from the Snowflake Trio Die Collection from mask sheet. I have then used these as a stencil and added TH Distress Ink to them in a pouncing method (instead of the usual blending method) on to piece of white cardstock.

 

I have then taken one of the sentiments from the new Most Wonderful set and stamped this on top using Versafine Onyx Black ink. I have finished off the card by adding the panel to a white card base with foam tape and then adding few pearls.

I Miss You

Hello there, I have had this card on my desk for a few weeks meaning to share it with you. Finally, here it is! I have first taken the Clearly Besotted Cityscape die and cut it from black and yellow cardstocks. I have taken the windows from the black and inlaid them using the yellow.

 

 

I have added the city scene on to a panel which has been made by blending various Tim Holtz Distress Inks to create a sky. I have then stamped the sentiment, from the A Little Sentimental set, with Versamark and heat embossed in white. The panel has been adhered with foam tape to a card base which has been run through my Cuttlebug using the PTI Linen Embossing Plate.

Anniversary Bunnies

Hello there, when I was thinking about what to do for my brother and sister in law's wedding anniversary card this week, my mind went straight to the cute bunnies from the Mama Elephant Honey Bunny set.

 

I kept the card simple by just stamping the bunnies and colouring with Copic Markers. I then stamped the sentiment, from the PTI Fillable Frames set, underneath. The panel has then been popped up on a white card base with foam tape.

Clearly Besotted 2nd Anniversary Blog Hop

For my teaser today I am using the new Hanging Around stamp set and matching dies. I have first stamped the wreath using Versamark ink and heat embossed using Ranger silver embossing powder. I have coloured in four of the baubles using BV31 and BV34 Copic Markers and some Wink of Stella. This has then been cut out using the matching die.

 

I have taken a panel of white cardstock and cut the wreath from it again. I have popped a piece of vellum behind it and then inlaid the first image on top. The sentiment, from the same set, has been stamped below and heart embossed. I have adhered the panel to some Bazzill Card Shoppe CS with foam tape and added a few HA Smooth Gems to the wreath.
