Simon Says Spots & Dots

Hello there, when my mojo is declining I see if I can take part in some challenges to get my creative juices flowing. Today I am taking part in the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge, the theme this week is Spots & Dots. I have first taken a white card base and made a mask with a circle die to put over the top. I have then used the SSS Medium Dots stencil and some TH Spun Sugar ink to create a background.

 

I have taken the Scripty Thanks die from Lawn Fawn, cut this three times and layered them up. This has been added to the base. I have then finished off with a couple of sequins and gemstones.

MTDS Haul

Hello there, since I wasn't able to make/get my June haul video up I am trying to catch up this month and doing separate videos for separate shops. The first one today is from Make The Day Special. Hope Your Day Is Awesome!

Hello there, I am back! I now have my new PC but please bear with me as everything is different! Anyway, I am here (a little later than planned) with a card from the new Simon Says Stamp This Is The Life release. I have used the new Life's Journey stamp set for my card. I have first taken the arrow image from the set and stamped this in various shades of SSS and HA inks on to a white card panel.

 

I have then taken the Tilted banners die and cut this from white CS. The sentiment from the Tilted Banner Sayings stamp set has been stamped on using black ink. This has been popped up with foam tape in the centre of the arrow images. I have then finished off with a few Doodlebug Sprinkles and popped the panel on to a white card base with more foam tape.

So, I never realised that Windows 8 was so different from Windows 7! I think it is going to take me a while to get used to it. Also all my settings in Paint Shop Pro have changed too so the photos might look a bit dodgy while I am getting back to grips with it! Broken Computer/Blogging Break

Hello there, I just wanted to pop in and explain where I am! Unfortunately there has been a problem with my PC these last (almost) two weeks. My brother (who is an expert) doesn't know what is wrong so therefore cannot fix it :( He is building me a new one as we speak which will be better, faster and more efficient all round. I have edited and saved videos on his computer before and they take around 30 mins max. On mine currently, it takes almost four hours! I will be very much looking forward to that speed and hopefully it will mean I can make more videos too as I love doing those :)

 

I am hoping that it will be only about a week before I get my new PC (maybe sooner) so I will be back shortly but taking this opportunity to make some new cards and get my creative mojo back (since I haven't been well I feel it has been lacking).

 

So that's where I have been/where I will be. I hope you can bear with me. I will be back soon! I hope you are all well.

CBS July 2014 Release Reveal

Hello there, I am back as promised with my release video. Here I am showing all the new products (although I forgot to mention the Sister Word Die sorry!) along with a recap of my teaser cards. I hope you enjoy!

Get The Quilled Look

Hello there and welcome to the final day of Clearly Besotted Teasers. Yep, you heard correctly, today is the day when all the products are released. They will be on sale tonight at 10pm (BST) from the CBS shop and also Simon Says Stamp.

Today I have a new set called Simply Quilled to share with you. Have you ever thought you like the look of quilling but find it difficult to do? Do you like it but dislike the added bulk on the card? Well this is the set for you! It has an array of quilled images in it along with some cute little sentiments. I love that you can achieve the look with a stamp set.

I have used three of the quilled circles along with the line image to make some flowers for a little notecard. I think this card would make a lovely little set if stamped in different colours for each card.
