Thanks, Dad.

Hello there, today I have a slightly different type card to share with you today. This is the card that I made for my dad for Father's Day, which was yesterday here in the UK. I saw a card on Pinterest using this message and I thought my Dad would find it funny since he has a great sense of humour and is always telling jokes (some bad ones too!)

Of course I wasn't going to buy a card so I decided to print the message (using Anmatic font) both inside and out on to my usual PTI Stampers Select white CS and then adhere it to a black card base (also PTI). The front piece has been added with foam tape. I did initially add some enamel dots to the front but took them off as I think it makes more of an impact being plain.

Thanks so much for visiting me today and those that have sent me get well messages, although not 100% yet I am feeling a lot better, thank you. Have a lovely day!

Happy Birthday To You & A Yay!

Hello there, today I have a super quick card to share with you. It didn't take long to make but I really like it. I took the 'happy birthday to you' sentiment from the ME Make A Wish set and stamped it on to a panel of white CS that had been cut with the rectangle die from the ME Femme Frames die set.

I stamped the sentiment and the stars with Versamark ink and then white heat embossed. I then went over the panel in various shades of blue TH Distress Inks and popped it up on the card base with foam tape. I think I am going to make a few more of these in various colours!

I apologise for the lateness of this post today, I haven't been feeling well all week unfortunately. A couple of days ago Dawn wrote on my FB page saying that I was mentioned as Blog of the Month in the new July Issue of Cardmaking & Papercraft Magazine (thank you so much for letting me know!). I got the issue today and thought I would show you ...

It has really put a smile on my face! Thank you Cardmaking & Papercraft Magazine! :) Thanks so much for visiting me today. Hope you are having a lovely day!

Clearly Besotted Challenge - Anything Goes

Hello there and welcome to the new Clearly Besotted Challenge. This month the theme is 'Anything Goes' so feel free to let your creative juices flow and make anything using Clearly Besotted products.

For my card today I am using two sets to make a card for my beautiful and amazing friend Sarah. I have first taken a piece of TH Watercolour CS and stamped and embossed the Orange Blossom image from the Fresh Flowers set. I have then coloured it using watercolour paints adding some clear WOS to the flowers.

The panel has been added to a PTI Spring Rain card base with a small strip of SU! Glimmer Paper added to the side. The sentiment is from the A Little Sentimental set and has been cut using the banner from the Tag Along Die set.

The winner of the challenge will receive a £30 e-gift card to spend in the shop. For full details on entering and to see all the Design Teams cards please pop over to Stephanie's blog. Thanks so much for visiting me today :)

Thanks For Everything

Hello there, I was asked by Simon Says Stamp last week I would like to make a couple of cards for them this month using some of their exclusive products, well of course I said yes! It was actually perfect timing as the amazing and kind Debby Hughes sent me this SSS Medium Dots Stencil as a thank you for helping her out with something. So of course I just had to have a play with it!

I have first taken a piece of Bazzill Marshmallow CS, applied the stencil over the top and inked it using SSS Lavender ink with a TH Blending Tool. I then added this to a Bazzill Liquorice Twist card base using foam tape. I took the Thanks die, cut it out twice and layered them together adding clear WOS to the top layer.

I then cut a banner using the Tilted Banners Die and stamped the sentiment from the co-ordinating Thanks stamp set on it. This has been added to the card with liquid glue and foam under the sentiment part underneath the thanks die. I have finished off with a little heart from the Mini Hearts die set which has also had the WOS treatment, as well as the strip of card base on the right hand side.

Clearly Besotted June Release Reveal Video

Hello there, I am back with my release video. I know that these help out people in deciding which sets they want to buy so I hope you find it useful. I apologise for the lighting in the video, even with my lights on it was dark but like I say, I hope it is still useful to you.

Here it is ...

Has that helped any of you? Which are your favourites this month? I have a feeling that they are all going to be super popular but maybe Text me might just edge it? They will be available in the shop tonight at 10pm and also at Simon Says Stamp. Have a lovely day!

Thanks

Hello there, I am back today sharing my last Clearly Besotted teaser with you. All the new products will be available to purchase tonight at 10pm - yay! My card today uses the new Nouveau Flowers set. It is such a beautiful flower builder set with some lovely sentiments too.

I have first cut the Rounded Tag Die from white CS and then stamped the flower on top. I have stamped the leaves and stem first using New Sprout ink and then the flowers using Grape Jelly. The sentiment has then been stamped with Tuxedo Black. I have then added some white baker's twine and the tag has been added to the card base with foam tape.

The base has been made by layering a white CS panel on top of a white card base. The panel has a strip of paper from the Doodlebug Kraft In Colour - Kraft paper pad on the bottom followed by a small strip of Limeade CS above which has been covered with clear WOS.
