Happily Ever After - CBS Teasers

Hello there, welcome to day two of Clearly Besotted Teasers. Today I am sharing two bridal/wedding themed sets with you. The first is called Love Blossoms and it has some beautiful cherry blossoms in it as well as some stunning sentiments. For my card I have kept it very simple and used two sizes of the cherry blossoms and stamped these with HA Soft Pink ink and then stamped the sentiment over the top with Versamark and then silver embossing powder. I simply finished it off with a few rhinestones.

My second card uses the new Bridal Bouquet stamp set but instead of using it for a wedding theme I went with a thank you card. I first took a white card base and using masking tape, masked off sections so that I could stamp in a strip. The flowers and leaves are two step stamping so I think it gives it lovely dimension to stamp in a lighter colour and then a darker colour over the top. I have then die cut the Thanks Word Die three times and layered them up. The top layer has some clear WOS on the top. This has been added to the card and then I have added a few rhinestones to finish it off.

Thank you so much for visiting me today. Are you enjoying the teasers so far? Please go over and see Stephanie to see her amazing cards as well as links to the rest of the DT who are sharing today. Hope to see you tomorrow for my next teaser. Have a lovely day!

You Are The Sweetest - CBS Teaser

Hello there, I am sure you have noticed that the Clearly Besotted Stamps release had to be delayed this month but I am sure you will agree by the end of the week that it was worth the wait! The DT will be sharing teasers with you for the rest of the week and the products will be available on Saturday 10th May at 10pm BST.

My card today uses two new sets - An Apple A Day and Diagonal Stripes. I first stamped the diagonal stripes stamp along the bottom of a 4½" x 3¼" card base with PTI Pure Poppy ink and then rounded the corners with my corner chomper.

I then took a separate piece of white CS and stamped the apple with Pure Poppy ink and the core with New Leaf ink. I took the already released Apple Die and cut this out and then added a ton of Glossy Accents over the top. This was added to the card base and then the sentiment from the same set stamped below ink Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

New Home

Hello there, today I have a new home card to share with you that I have made for the lovely Sally. She has recently just moved house so I wanted to send her a card to wish her all the best. I have used the WPlus9 Folk Art Florals dies and simply layered the little bird over the house image. The bird plus the top roof layer of the house have had the WOS treatment and then I have stamped the sentiment from the CBS A Little Sentimental below.

Stitches & Swirls

Hello there, today I have the card I made for my Nan for her 92nd Birthday to share with you. She loves the colour green so I busted out my PTI Stitches & Swirls stamp set and coloured it in with Distress Markers in various shades of green, blue and pink. Although it is difficult to see in the photo, I finished it off with some accents of WOS and a white Sakura pen.

Back To Basics: Where I Purchase From - Part 2

Hello there and welcome to part two of my 'Where I Purchase From' episode in my Back To Basics series. If you missed it you can see part one HERE.

So I am going to jump straight in to the other shops:

A shop that sells a wide range of products but my go-to place for the Wink Of Stella pens and as well as the Sakura pens. P&P is free on orders over £9 - this includes worldwide shipping. Great customer service, items arrive quickly.

A great shop that sells all those hard to get stamps (and matching dies) here in the UK. They sell Mama Elephant, Lawn Fawn, WPlus9, Paper Smooches etc. and have very good customer service too. P&P is £2.50 on orders up to £60 and free over this. The only downfall is that most of their products are out of stock as it is so popular!

A wide range of products are sold here from papers to dies, embellishments to ink pads. P&P is worked out in increments but the most of £3 for orders £25-£39.99. All orders over £40 are free. Great customer service.

They have a great range of craft products and craft related products these days. I have noticed them selling more and more which is why I mention them. I do have to mention that within the last week I have become an Amazon UK affiliate which means that if you click on the link on my blog (where I usually have links to the products I have used) and then you purchase it from there, I will get a small amount of that sale. I will only ever use affiliate links on products that I have bought myself.

I get a lot of questions asking where in the UK is Papertrey Ink and Lil' Inker Designs sold. The answer is no-where at the moment. PTI only sell direct from their website. If you want something from there unfortunately you just have to pay their P&P fees (yes they are high). I haven't bought from them recently as I have been using my Clearly Besotted Stamps more but their white cardstock is still the best I have ever used! Up until a few weeks ago, 'Lil Inker Designs only sold direct too. Their products can now be bought from SSS but there is no UK supplier as of yet. I have bought direct from Lil' Inker Designs though and they have great customer service.

Here is the video:

Thank you so much for visiting me today, I hope that may have helped some of you. If not, you have had a nosey into what I think of some of the craft shops! I will be back over the weekend with some new cards to share :)

A Thank You and a Sad Goodbye

Hello there, as you may well have deduced from title of this post, this is my last posting as part of the Dies to Die for DT. I made the extremely hard decision last week that it was time for me to step down from the DT. I can't even explain to you how much of a difficult decision it was for me. I have been on the DT since 2008. Tracy (the owner of DTDF) was the first person to ever want me on their DT, she took a chance on me and I will always be eternally grateful to her for that.

With going back to university this year along with my card making style, I thought it was the right time for me to leave. I do not feel that I can promote the shop to the amount it deserves, if that makes sense? The DT are all amazingly talented and it will be sad to not be working with them anymore.

So enough of the sadness, here is the card. I wanted to make a card for Tracy to say thank you for all that she has done of me over the years. My card used the MFT Blissful Butterflies dies with some water-colouring effect on them using the TH Distress Ink in Broken China.

 SUPPLIES:

Well that was a bit of a sad post wasn't it? Sorry about that but thank you so much for visiting me today, I really do appreciate each and every one of you :)
