Hello there, I am delighted to be hosting this month's Inspiration Challenge over at Altenew. Each month, either a DT member or guest takes a photo and creates a project based on that photo. You can use the colours provided or you can use the photo as more of a starting point and see where it takes you! I decided to use the colours from my photo for my card.

I started off my card by stamping the flowers from Altenew Build-A-Garden: Serene Blooms onto white cardstock using Altenew Obsidian Pigment Ink. I then used the coordinating stencils to colour the images using inks and blending brushes.
I followed the inspiration photo above using the two shades of pink from the fuchsias in my garden. I used Altenew Bubblegum Dreams Fresh Dye Inks (Baby Pink, Fuchsia & Magenta) for the dark pink tones and Altenew Blushberry Bliss Fresh Dye Inks (Strawberry, Dusty Pink & Blush Rose) for the light pink tones.
For the greens, I used Altenew Green Valley Fresh Dye Inks. The images were die cut out using the coordinating dies. I also die cut the vase from white cardstock and added ink blending on top with Altenew Jet Black Ink (since in the inspiration photo the fuchsias are in a black flower pot).
The flower stems were adhered behind the vase and secured in place with tape, before adhering both onto a white A2 sized card base with Altenew Instant Dimension Foam Tape. I stamped the sentiment from Altenew Build-A-Garden: Serene Blooms onto white cardstock using Altenew Obsidian Pigment Ink and die cut it out using the coordinating dies.
It was adhered on top of the vase with foam tape on the left and liquid glue on the right. To finish, I added black dots to the card using Altenew Finer Liner Pens.
