Reverse Confetti May 2021 & 8th Birthday Release Blog Hop

Hello there, I am delighted to be joining Reverse Confetti today to celebrate the release of their May 2021 stamps and dies, as well as their 8th Birthday. Happy Birthday Reverse Confetti! What a fantastic release! There is something for everyone but I had a lot of fun with the bears from the The Bear Up There set today. We are celebrating with a fun, inspiration filled blog hop. More details on the hop below.

For my first card, I started off by stamping the bear from the Reverse Confetti The Bear Up There Stamp Set on to white cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I then coloured him, the cloud and rainbow with Copic Markers (the colours that I used will be listed below the supplies area). I die cut him out using the Reverse Confetti The Bear Up There Confetti Cuts

I took an A2 card base made from Hero Arts Arctic Cardstock and blended Tim Holtz Peacock Feathers Distress Ink on to the top half. I took the sentiment from the Reverse Confetti Word Up Stamp Set and stamped it directly on to the card base with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink

The bear image was added on top with foam tape. I added Copic Spica Glitter Pen dots to the rainbow and Tonic Crystal Glaze to the bear's nose. To finish off, I added Lucy's Bubbles around the image and Black Glaze Pen to the bear's eyes.

My next card uses the same set (because I could not resist the bears!).  I started off by stamping the bear with the balloons, as well as the cloud stamp from the Reverse Confetti The Bear Up There Stamp Set on to white cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I coloured them with Copic Markers and die cut them out with the Reverse Confetti The Bear Up There Confetti Cuts

I took the Reverse Confetti Up in the Clouds Cover Panel Confetti Cuts and cut it three times from white cardstock. I stacked up the frame pieces, adhering with liquid glue and then adhered them to an A2 white card base. On the top layer, I stamped the sentiment from the Reverse Confetti Hooray Stamp Set, which is a free gift with purchases of $60, with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink

With the inside piece of the cover panel, I blended on Tim Holtz Distress Inks for the sky. I used Peacock Feathers, Mermaid Lagoon, Chipped Sapphire and Seedless Preserves. It was splattered with water and once dry, adhered inside the frame. The clouds were adhered on top with liquid glue and the bear added with foam tape. To finish off, I added Lucy's Bubbles to the clouds and Tonic Crystal Glaze to the bear's nose. I also added Black Glaze Pen to the bear's eyes.
