Hello there, today I have a card to share using a few of the new sets from Clearly Besotted that were released this month. As soon as I saw the cow in the Fun On The Farm set, I knew I had to ink her up, I mean, how cute is she?! And of course, she has to have a birthday hat on, so I grabbed one from the new Playground Pals set, it is a little small for her, but she is making it work! ;)
I started off by stamping the hat, making it off and then stamping the cow. The mask was removed and then both images coloured with Copic markers (the colours used are listed below the supplies section). The image was then fussy cut out with scissors and set aside. For my background, I took a piece of white cardstock and placed the MFT Radiating Rays stencil on top. Using daubers, I went to town creating a rainbow using almost every colour of Distress Ink I own!
Once my rainbow was complete, I removed the stencil and cut the piece down slightly. I spritzed on some water, let sit for about 30 seconds and them removed it with a paper towel. This would work better if using Bristol cardstock or watercolour paper but since I was using regular cardstock, I had to be careful with how much water I used. Once dry, I stamped the sentiment from the Scrumptious Birthday Sentiments set on top, using black ink. The piece was added to a black A2 card base with ATG and then the cow added on top with foam tape. To finish off, I added black Nuvo Drops to her eyes and Crystal Glaze to the hat.

What a fun card - I love your rainbow and the effects of the distress oxide inks. I haven't gotten the hang of those yet - could it be my water (very hard) in Mesa, AZ? Anyway, darling cow and yes, the hat is perfect!
