Hello there, today I have a card to share that I made using Peerless Watercolours for a background panel.
I started off by taking a piece of TH Watercolor Cardstock and stamped The Ton Peony Background stamp on to it using Versamrak ink. I then applied white heat embossing powder and heat set. This piece was taped to a board and then I applied Peerless Watercolours, followed by a few liberal spritzes of a Perfect Pearls and water mixture.

While this was drying, I took the rectangle shape tag from the Clearly Besotted Tiny Tags die collection and cut this from white cardstock. I then stamped the sentiment, from The Ton Large Peony 1 stamp set, on to this using black ink. The background piece was then cut in to strips and added to a white A2 card base with foam tape. I then tied some silver thread on to the top of the tag and added this to the card with more foam tape.

I love this large background stamp by The Ton. I am planning on using it again soon for some Copic Colouring. Thanks so much for visiting me today. I hope you have a great day!
This is soooo lovely, the colours are gorgeous! While I love the entire card, I really like your idea of cutting the panel into three separate pieces, and I think you're absolutely right about the perfect pearls look without adding sequins. Beautifully done! Cheers, Dotty :)
ReplyDeleteMichelle, this is absolutely stunning! x
