Hello there, as soon as I saw the new butterfly dies from MFT I knew I had to grab them! I seem to have an obsession with butterflies but I find them perfect for lots of different occasions. For my card today, I have combined the Flutter of Butterflies sold and lace dies.
I first started off by embossing the MFT Grid Stencil on to some white cardstock. This was then added to a white (slightly smaller than) A2 card base. The Flutter of Butterflies butterfly was cut with more white cardstock, as well as the body. I took TH Distress Inks in Peacock Feathers and Broken China and blended these on to the solid butterfly.
I also sprayed this with Glimmer Mist in Pearl. Once dried, I popped the lace one on top and added this to my card. The sentiment, from the MFT (oldie but goodie) Essential Sentiments set, was stamped with Versamark ink to some black cardstock and heat set with white embossing powder. This was cut out and added with foam tape. I finished off by adding a few PPP Sparkling Clear sequins.
