You Know You're Old When ...

I have made this card for my Aunt who is turning 60 this week ... she has a great sense of humour so I when I was this image by Bugaboo Stamps I knew I had to use it on her card! I have printed Stella out and coloured her with Copics adding touches of glitter and glaze to her glasses. I have mounted her with DB Swimming Pool CS added to base with 3d foam. The sentiment is also by Bugaboo but I changed the font to suit my needs; this has been printed directly onto a sheet from the DCWV The Linen Closet Stack and then also added to base with 3d foam pads. The base is a layer of Bazzill Kraft CS followed by a layer of DB Dragonfly CS then another sheet from The Linen Closet Stack. Elegant Peacock Seam Binding wrapped around and tied in a bow using the Bow Easy. The 'Happy Birthday' is rub ons by Bazzill Basics and the '60' has been cut out using the Sizzix Sizzlits Girls Are Weird alpha set and then glittered with DB ultra fine glitter. Bazziil Jewels added to finish. I hope she likes it!

60s Mod Ivy

This is the card I have made form my Aunt. I have used Lil Lolita's 60s Mod Ivy by Tickled Pink Stamps and coloured her with Copics and cut out, she has been mounted to circles cut out using a Nestabilities circle die. This has then been added to card blank with strips of paper on it from the DCWV Linen Closet Stack, the bottom strip is Bazzill Kraft which has been punched with the Stampin' Up scallop border punch. A row of MME Lush rhinestones added to one of the strips and the greeting stamped from the PTI Birthday Bash Sentiments set. I hope she likes it!

Happy Birthday Sarah

Today is wonderful Sarah's birthday ... happy birthday hun, hope you have a great day! ... and this is the card I made for her. I have used the gorgeous Busy Baking from LOTV and coloured with Copics and cut out using a Nestie circle die then added to base with DST. The base is made following the sketch from the Just Cute Bears Challenge 18. I have added various layers of paper from the DCWV Linen Closet Stack (I love this!) one of them cut using the Stampin' Up! Scallop Boarder Punch. Organza ribbon and ric-rac ribbon (from Dies to Die for) wrapped around and roses added to finish. The large one is by Prima and available from Dies to Die for and the two smaller are from Wild Orchid Crafts. Elzybells greeting stamped and gem stones added to finish.

Elzybells Challenge 24 - Buttons & Bling!

This fortnights challenge over at Elzybells has been set by the fab Charlene and is 'buttons and bling'! For my card I have one of the stamps from the 'Funky Flowers' set and coloured it in with Copics, cut out using a Nestabilities Label One die and added to base with 3d foam pads. The base has been made by layering up Bazzill CS (from Dies to Die for) with a sheet of paper from the DCWV 'The Spring Stack' Message stamped from the Mimi Messages - A Little Hello set. MME Bloom & Grow buttons (also from Dies to Die for) added to the bottom corner with Scrappers Floss and pearls added to the top corner - my bling! Elzybells Challenge 11

This fortnights challenge over at Elzybells is one by Jeanne. It is to make a card using the colours pink, blue and green. I did cheat a bit and added some yellow - please forgive me Elizabeth!! I have stamped out the gorgeous sheep and chicks from the Sheep Celebrations 2 set and coloured them in with Coloursoft pencils and Sansodor. Cut out and mounted to SU! Bashful Blue CS this has then been added to base with DST. The base is simply a sheet of paper from the DCWV Spring Stack. Message made on PC and cut out using a Nestabilities label die with one end cut off - added with a sparkly brad. Making Memories clip added to the image panel and 2 Prima Flowers added with a blue sparkly brad to finish. Congratulations Vicki

This card was made for Vicki over at Paperlicious Oasis to say congrats and good luck in her new job. I have used the lovely image from Michelle at Planet Pootle (thanks Michelle) it is appropriately named 'Jump for Joy'. I have coloured him in with watercolour pencils and mounted to green card. It has then been added to the card blank which has been covered with paper from the DCWV Spring Stack. A Craftwork Cards message added to finish.
